Planning The Activities To Carry out

To start an enterprise, the planning permits to do what is necessary at the time to attain the required objectives.
A plan of action is a calendar project which indicates:
1 What to do?
2 When to do it?
3 Who will do it?
First of all, write down a chronological list of all the things to do. For example:
1 Hold a meeting
2 Obtain a piece of land or a job site
3 Find a specialist who will give advices and training.
4 Obtain funds
5 Buy inputs
6 Find some means of transport
7 Organise specific work activities
8 Establish the price of the product
9 Refund the loan and
10 Discuss of the repartition of the benefits

Care with the calendar: When you establish a time table, you have to start by the most important activity (e.g. the best moment to sow or to sell). Do not forget to take into consideration the time necessary for the training or for the instruction of a ready document.

The table below proposes a model of work planning for an enterprise of poultry production.

The planning will equally facilitate the follow-up of the activities in terms of respect of date limits and pf responsibilities.

2 Who was in charge of carrying it out and who must give an account?
3 What are the risks encountered if it is not carried out in time?
